Construction in Potomac Crossing began in 1988. Today, the community consists of 926 single-family and townhomes. Residents can enjoy a variety of great amenities to make life fun! Swim in the pool facility, challenge friends to a game on one of the two basketball courts, or get a workout at the fitness station. Kids enjoy playing on Potomac Crossing’s seven playgrounds. The community is also very walkable, with 2.5 miles of asphalt footpaths weaving through various sections of the development.
Potomac Crossing kids attend the nearby Tolbert Elementary School before moving on to Harper Park Middle School and Heritage High School. The high school opened in 2002 to address growing demand due to Loudoun County’s rapidly expanding population. Since then, the school’s population has grown to more than 1000 between grades 9 and 12.

Crew, and many more! Shoppers can take a break and grab a bite to eat or drink at Bananas Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt, Lacas Coffee Co., or Panera Bread.
Potomac Crossing is conveniently located near Target, Costco, Giant, and Home Depot, so you’ll be able to quickly pick up everything you might need for your home. Outdoorsy residents can also spend time at Potomac Crossing Park, which is a great place to picnic with the whole family or stroll along a walking trail. There’s also a nice playground for kids to enjoy.
